Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: imagine a cat is penned up in a steel chamber, along with a flask of hydrogen cyanide and circuitry linked to radioactive decay. Within one hour of being placed in the chamber, the cat has an equal chance of living and dying. According to the Copenhagen interpretation, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead until the chamber is unboxed and the truth observed.
Or in regards to Mini Trial #84, each player is simultaneously assigned as innocent and the culprit. Following the typical DRG MT system, each player will enact their own murder plan, and will receive two sets of alibis — one where they’re innocent, and one where they’re committing murder.
As per usual, players will not submit their order of actions for their Spotless scenario. Since in any hypothetical scenario you would die in, you wouldn’t receive any alibi anyway, you can be sure to see yourself survive anyway.
